About Me

I started painting as a hobby when my husband and I became "empty nesters." A few years later, I left teaching Preschool Music and Creative Movement after 25 years when I had surgery on my vocal cords. Painting became my full time passion and filled that void created when I left teaching music.
I decided to use windows as my canvas when the windows in my home were replaced and I saw them being "trashed." I am inspired by my beautiful garden, the trees that surround my home, and everyday events such as stargazing, a trip to the beach or the mountains, the owls I hear at night while sitting on my deck.
Many years ago I took Tole Painting classes, I often watch tube instructional videos and am always experimenting with new techniques!
